Single classes (one time)

Kids Birthday Party- Children often love cooking because of its creative nature. Parents love our kids Birthday class because it takes the hassle out of planning and managing the party. This 1 1/2-2 hour class plan includes instruction from the Chef, a foodie craft activity, "gourmet" hands-on recipe and even a surprise cake! Cost is $42 per child inclusive.

 

Veggies ooh la la- Vegetables get a bad reputation because people dont know how to prepare them a la gourmet. This class will teach even kids that eating veggies tastes great when they are cooked and seasoned properly. Learn 3 easy techniques that will show you a whole new side to vegetables.

 

I hate cooking- Now what? Cooking is not for everyone...but what are the alternatives when quality food could increase your wellness? We will explore the answer to this and other anti-cooking questions, while learning some surprisingly fun techniques. Also discover how you can eliminate the hassle involved with cooking while creating exciting meals that may just change your mind.

 

Cooking with Flair- How do you turn a fresh garden tomato into a stunning "amuse bouche"? How can you make your meals look and taste picture perfect? In this class you will learn tricks of the trade about food presentation, plating, garnishing and design. Turn heads at your next dinner party with delicious simple recipes and techniques that bring your inner Chef into the spotlight.

 

Executive Team Building. This 3-4 hour event is one of our most popular classes, as it combines relaxing, learning, creating and connecting into one delicious package. Starting with some refreshing ice-breakers and leading into Chef demonstrations and interactive learning, participants get a chance to explore The Art of Cooking while learning some surprising fun facts about their colleagues. The class continues with snacking on local cheese and french bread (and wine!) hands-on cooking, and then enjoying a delicious 3 course dinner prepared by particippants. Finally, guests are treated to a fresh-made dessert (usually of the chocolate variety...) and a hot drink by the fireplace. Participants leave the class understanding more about eachother and Cooking, while feeling nourished and relaxed.

How to start living Gluten-Free, 5 classes total. This series includes handouts, recipes, demonstrations, hands-on cooking and simple homework. Going gluten-free can be confusing at first. In this 5 part class together we'll start from the basics and work our way up according to your comfort level. Class one- What to eat; the basics and snacks. Class two- simple breakfasts, dinners, soups and smoothies. Class three- dairy, goodies and your choice recipe. Class four- shopping stradegies, avoiding overwhelment. Class five- Branching out. Explore some ready made options, breads and more. You choose one topic that you would like further clarity on.

 

Take it up a notch This series includes handouts, recipes, demonstrations, hands-on cooking and simple homework. These classes are taylored to enhance the current and unique cooking skills of participants. If you've mastered kraft dinner and rice, you'll learn stir fry and gourmet pasta (ex). If you're eating spaghetti and stir fry; you'll learn risotto and broiled peppered chicken. Chopping becomes chiffonade, serving becomes voila. If you want to become a better cook, this customized 3-5 class series is for you.
