Menu Samples.

FAQ

Do I have to use the Menus that you have provided in your samples page? What if the foods I like are not listed there?
The meal items in our samples pages have been listed to give our customers examples of what you might expect from that type of menu plan, and they represent a small fraction of the meals that are available within a menu. The service always begins with a food questionnaire which gives you the opportunity to indicate your preferences. Our Chef uses that information to customize a menu, and the menu gets approved by the customer before the service begins. Therefore, you can always expect exactly what you “ordered”. However, it is important to note that when we are following nutritional guidelines, some ingredients cannot be used; therefore the menu selections can be more limited.

I don’t understand the Legend- could you explain it in more detail?
Dinners by Design offers 3 types of meal services. (1-Menu Planning / Grocery Delivery, 2-Heat and Serve, 3-Fresh Serve) The 3 colored triangles listed in our Legend (and on each menu sample) represent those 3 options. Since some diet-sensitive meals cannot be prepared or offered in all 3 service types, using the legend will tell you what your options are. For example; if you see only 1 (Yellow) Triangle on a “Diet Type” heading it means that the service(s) available is; Menu Planning. If there were also a Red Triangle on the same heading, you could choose between the Menu Planning service and the Heat-and-Serve option.
