Athletic and Weight Maintenance Menu Samples

Athletic
The athletic diet varies according to each person’s needs. In this example we have chosen a high caloric diet that provides a total of 6000 calories. For this example a Heat and Serve service is combined with a Menu Planning service, and the total package provides one full day’s worth of meals, for a total of 2 weeks.

Weight Maintenance
This sample menu is ideal for anyone using the Menu Planning service

Day one:

  • Breakfast: Spanish Scrambled Eggs and low-fat cottage cheese
  • Lunch: Salmon with Orange and Miso sauce with Organic greens
  • Dinner: Grilled Lemon Basil Pork Chops with Roasted Red Peppers, Mushrooms and Feta
Day Two:
  • Breakfast: Apple Crisp and low-fat cheese
  • Lunch: Tempeh-Vegetable salad
  • Dinner: Chicken Cacciatore with whipped Cauliflower and sliced Strawberries
Day Three:
  • Breakfast: almost Old-fashioned Oatmeal with Soy Sausages
  • Lunch: Lentil Soup with fresh Avocado and Sliced Tomato
  • Dinner: Sautéed Turkey breast with mushrooms and garlic
Day Four:
  • Breakfast: Blueberry smoothie
  • Lunch: Open-face Avocado-Chicken salad Sandwich
  • Dinner: Roasted Teriyaki Turkey Breast with Sun-dried Tomato and Basil wild rice
Day Five:
  • Breakfast: Mushroom and Goat Cheese Omelet
  • Lunch: Chicken and snow-pea stir fry
  • Dinner: Marinated Lamb kabobs with Garlic roasted Eggplant
